Marquette County Habitat for Humanity Invites Community Volunteers to Volunteer Appreciation Day

MARQUETTE, Mich. — Marquette County Habitat for Humanity (MCHFH) is excited to honor the dedicated volunteers who make its mission possible during its Volunteer Appreciation Day on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Negaunee Township Pavilion, 42 M-35, Negaunee.

The event is a special opportunity to recognize the individuals and groups whose generosity of time and talent helps build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable housing across Marquette County.

The afternoon will feature:

  • A complimentary BBQ-style lunch with hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and sides
  • Yard games and family-friendly activities
  • Time to reconnect with fellow volunteers and Habitat supporters
  • A Volunteer Recognition Program beginning at 4:30 p.m.

All past and present Habitat volunteers are invited to attend. Whether you have volunteered on a construction site, at the ReStore, in the office, on a committee, or at special events, MCHFH welcomes you to join the celebration.

RSVPs (by 8/5/2026) are encouraged, but not required, to assist with event planning.

Marquette County Habitat for Humanity has been serving local families since 1992 by building affordable homes, completing critical home repairs, and helping create safe, stable housing opportunities throughout Marquette County. The organization relies on hundreds of volunteers each year whose dedication makes this work possible.
