Did you know that the ReStore has large quantities of high-quality, recycled eco-friendly paint in stock?
GreenSheen was started in 2010 by a professional residential and commercial paint contractor. The GreenSheen brand has recycling facilities in Arizona, Colorado and Washington state and their paint is used in both interior and exterior in commercial and residential applications. It can be rolled, brushed or sprayed. The paint is refined to result in a smooth low VOC latex paint that provides excellent coverage and has a 5 year warranty. The ReStore carries both 1 gallon and 5 gallon options in a wide variety of colors, including whites. Where a gallon of paint will cost you $60-80 at a big box store, you can pick up a gallon of GreenSheen from the ReStore for around $17!
But the paint is SO cheap! It must be low quality, right?
WRONG! The paint is economical because the cost of raw materials and manufacturing has been absorbed by the original manufacturer. They accept paint from all major brands and those wishing to protect the environment and not dump latex paint. Some of the paint has never been opened. The recycling center inspects every gallon of paint used to make sure it is water based, never been frozen and has not separated and is what it says on the label. They have their own process for refining, filtering, screening and purifying their paint to ensure a quality paint that covers well, is easy to clean, is durable, very environmentally friendly and reasonably priced.
