Marquette County Habitat for Humanity still aims to seek passionate individuals and organizations to join us in our fight against substandard housing in Marquette County. Habitat invites people from all walks of life to work together in partnership to build houses with families in need.

We will contact you for registration and scheduling. Construction volunteers need to complete our free on-line safety course, offered thru our insurance company. We ALWAYS need help on our committees - Family Selection, Family Support, Church Relations, and Board of Directors! Committees meet once monthly and are a great way to get involved and help your community. Sign up today and help a family to get a "hand up" to have safe, affordable and reliable housing!

A variety of construction related tasks. Framing walls, decking, siding, drywall, painting, flooring, roofing, installing windows and doors, landscaping, etc. Generally construction takes place Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, with Saturdays pre-arranged only. On-line safety course, volunteer application and waiver of liability required. No one under 16 permitted on working job site.
Cleaning donated merchandise, stocking shelves, cleaning the store, pick-ups and deliveries and various other retail store related tasks.
Making lunches for the volunteer crews and/or delivering lunches to feed hungry volunteers. Need varies. On any given day we can have from 2 to 25 volunteers working.
Help is always needed to man the booths, sell merchandise and raffle tickets at the UP Builders Show, Marquette County Fair, the Women Build event and to help with Project Gift Wrap. (Raising money wrapping gifts at the Westwood Mall during the Christmas season.)
